Trendi / Practical marketing guidance
Define the difference between a click, an inquiry, and useful business—then build reporting around that distinction.

Before launch
Start with service eligibility, geography, customer need, and a realistic response process. A submitted form can be spam, a duplicate, an existing customer, or a person seeking a service you do not offer. Report those categories separately where records allow.
Agree on the owner who reviews leads and the timeframe in which qualification happens. Without that feedback, a campaign report can reward volume while the business experiences poor fit.
Measurement map
| Stage | Example | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Ad interaction | A click or landing-page visit | A genuine inquiry |
| Inquiry | A completed form or recorded call | Service eligibility |
| Qualified inquiry | A need your team can serve | A booked appointment or sale |
| Business outcome | A completed booking or signed engagement | Profit after all delivery costs |

Coverage
Google Ads supports location options based on presence and, in some contexts, interest in a location. Available settings vary by campaign type. Review the selected options and actual inquiries against the business’s service coverage.
Google describes location targeting as a best-effort process using multiple signals. Do not treat a city target as a guarantee that every person contacting the business is located there.

A simple example
Illustrative example, not a Trendi result: $2,000 in ad spend produces 40 inquiries, of which 10 are qualified. The media cost per inquiry is $50; the media cost per qualified inquiry is $200. Management, creative, landing-page work, and other costs are separate unless included explicitly.
If no qualified inquiries are recorded, the qualified-inquiry cost is not zero. Investigate the data and the campaign. Avoid scaling a small sample simply because one week looks favorable.
Make the next decision
Review unsuitable inquiries, unanswered calls, weak destinations, and repeated customer objections alongside campaign settings. The next improvement may be a clearer offer or better response process, not a larger budget.
Use the Core Web Vitals guide when the destination is slow or unresponsive, and keep paid promotion separate from organic activity in your social content plan.
